The change in thought is not quite as dramatic as made out but I think that is quite obvious why plainsailing, and it the same reason why everyone else changes views over time. the world goes round, circumstances change, opportunities arise, peoples attitudes change, optimism, talking to people.
Anyway it is still the same time frame as before, if you really want to get technical about it all.
If you go and read all the old HC posts, there is change in thought from many posters, which is well justified, just like a company has to change it's strategy forward to deal with changing times to survive.
