A great example. Yes. MAp was accused of paying $500m too much. This originated from the underbidders who were looking for a scapegoat to pin their loss of a prized asset on. So Macquarie was also vilified by the then in the media, and especially by the shock jocks. What did they do? They simply bunkered down and got on with the job - much the same as SGH is doing now.
SGH will re-rate similarly at some point.
