    I completely rebuilt a Mini motor back in the 90s. not a hard job.

    fixed the perpetual oil leak in the mitsubish sigma through the valves in the 80s.

    rebuilt motorcycle motors.

    all much fun and solid learning experiences.

    this thread is just trying to argue the keeping of old inefficient ICE cars in the face of the EV threat.
