    I had a v6 3.8l Buick motor, out of a VS commodore rebuilt. Oil pump went, and partially seized it.
    Went 60 thou, on the barrel/cyl rebore, instead of the 20 thou.
    The extra power, from the gain in CI, was very noticeable.
