that's an interesting question.
On 21 March Mr. Jiang a Hunan official told interfax that they are in talks with THR to develop moly/tungsten mines (that is more than one IMO) in Australia.
On 29 March Hunan finalised a nonbinding LOI with KIS to develop a tungsten mine.
There are 4 possibilities IMO:
1. Hunan is only interested in the Molyhil-deposit for near-term production of moly/tungsten.
2. Additional Hunan will explore and develop together with THR other prospective targets at Molyhil.
3. Hunan is also keen on Hatches Creek (possible tungsten mine)
4. On the long run both companies will acquire new tungsten/moly-projects elsewhere.
Number 2-4 should give more drive for SP.
A few days ago Mr.Barr wrote me that MM is well aware about the intentions of Hunan and of the Compass deal but at this stage he could not give any comments or speculate about the outcome of the Hunan-deal.
So we just have to wait and see....
