While I think "ultra spec" is a little over the top you are absolutely correct with your conclusion.
For someone to think that the wording of an announcment will add genuine value to a company is just ridiculous and one of the reasons that private investors get carried over the cliff when crashes come.
The only measure of real value in SGQ is in the volume and grade of nickel ore they have found in their tenements.

As we sit here today they have not found enough to justify anything like $50m. The economics of commercially extracting what they've already found are not known, but if commercial surely we'd have been told. Legally they can't not announce material info.
So the current value is prospectivity. That's it. And in a bull market it might get $100m but in a bear market it will be worth $5m. So all these young kids that are internet savvy are in for a rude shock when spin, key words and presentation skills are all they've got.

Don't get me wrong, I reckon SGQ is a great punt and has ripper leverage if they hit a thick intersection of massive suphides. But they haven't yet, so worrying about spin to influence the shareprice is an investment philosophy that will end in tears.
