Once the Jorc is completed I feel SGQ will quickly move into mining it. This is a shallow resource that could be extracted and processed with a mobile processing plant. They have already started the the Flora & Forna / Heritage surveys which should be complete by Christmas. The decision to mine will require Government Approval which would take another 6 months. I will get excited when we appoint a CEO as we need someone dedicated to driving these approvals through. The Company is under resourced at present.
It makes a lot of sense to sell the Concentrate to Canada to realise the full value of the PGEs. Currently BHP do not extract these metals in their Nickel Refinery. They only produce a Copper concentrate which is exported.
Something is cooking with the Canada test work. It does not take that long! I expect we will find out soon enough as funds will be required in the next quarter.
