They requested it and it was almost immediately rejected. It’s unfortunate there was no official announcement about this, this information was found from the court logs. I guess the original statement about applying to expedite it wasn’t an official announcement either, it was a webinar statement.
Technically probably doesn’t need an announcement whether it was successful or not, as the process still needs to play out, is taking longer than it should, and whether it was successful to expedite or not still wouldn’t give us a firm time frame, just that it would be done sooner.
