Reality is Manny, nobody takes the EU seriously. OK, MBS of Saudi takes them a bit seriously, enough to threaten to pull out all of his Euro assets in the event of seizure of Russian Central Bank assets. I missed what the figure was, but I heard someone say $B800 in Euros, will have to check, so anyway the mighty EU might be backing down after all on this. It was absurd to imagine that the rest of the world should take them or their values seriously.
