Far superior than satellite imagery. And thst news release is in relation to the railway. Very remote purpose... nearmap wouldnt bother nor eould nearmap soend the money covering that project unless it was commissioned to for the rightt price.
Nearmap is specialized technology for precise accurate capture. In as good as it gets high defintion taken from local perspective.. not in the apparent out of space suggested form.
I worked for the council for number of years and they use nearmap. The tools and the way it can be intergrated with other software is as good as it gets. It was a breeze and privelidge to use nearmap software.. i miss it dearlly and a shame its not available for public use. But i guess thats why its specialised for business purpose...
Want average supposed satellite images, jump on google earth.. but its uncomparable to nearmap technology and what it has to offer.
