Regarding initial sample of 20,000kg, California has been in lock down for a period of time and any small service usually provided which normally is simple and quick, can take a long time. It has taken Tesla until now to get things going and I don’t think LKE has that clout in California.
I reckon LKE's PFS would have included outcome of a lot of test work already completed – so the risk is limited around problems with the process IMO. Another challenge LKE may have in the current circumstance is if samples are completed today, how to assay them or deliver to potential off take partners with borders being closed. We may have to wait till June to receive some update I believe.
