Firstly I am no fan of the idea of a Labor government with Shorten as PM so what I write is just an observation.
Labor are ecstatic that lib's have lost Wentworth, it has always been held by the lib's and has been considered one of the safest Liberal seats with a margin of over 17%
Although labor didn't win that seat, I doubt they expect to win the absolute thrashing the Lib's got in one of their safest seat is music to the labor parties ears.
For the labor party ever seat the liberals lose makes it easier for them.
Now you asked the question "What are they happy about" Well I wonder how happy the Delcons are now the liberal party has not only gone backwards in the polls they have lost their majority
