You may be talking about Porter Geoconsultancy,Database.

It gives run downs on the areas of,Mbalam in Cameroon,Belinga and others in Gabon,The Congo and Brazil.
They show pictures of Itabirite mines in Brazil that are in the region of 1000mts deep.It shows a mine site with a very big hill and in front of it where it has been mined and going below ground level.
My post yesterday was about two mines in Brazil from one of these reports that were started in 1942 and 1957 that are expected to be exhausted in 2014.
