This is what the dutch asked when they realised they were paying up to 300,000 dollars in today's money for a rare tulip plant. When they began asking this question, how much is this really worth, that's when the freefall began.
I'm not saying houses are overvalued to that extent, but the same fundentals of irrational exuberance and greed do apply IMO. We are human after all.
