There's a structured approach to DoC, ie prove the connectivity of sands, do some sort of an EWT to identify decline in flowrates (not in 24 hrs but over weeks/months).
Use high res 3Dseis to eliminate hidden surprises ie faults or sand pinch outs, compartments etc.
The JV should b able to narrow things down to the obvious after,
- collecting sufficient cores,
- record the actual poro, perm in the lab
- HC/fluid samples,
- DST flowrates,
- pressure gradient datapoints,
- wireline Logs,
- VSP shoot,
- High res 3DSeis.
That's what ERCE will want to see, b4 signing off on a number. Period.
