Hi Annabelle:
The designation for the trades you refer your question to is XTSXOS
XT = Crossed trade. This is when a trade happens at only one broker and does not involve a second broker. Usually because a client wants to send stock from one portfolio to another.
SX = special crossing. Probably a portfolio rebalance for one reason or another.
OS = Overseas. Possibly GSJBW or another of the of the overseas Instutions.

If you use Commsuck you can go to Course of trades and press the help button. This drops down a window which describes the abbreviations used in the course of trades listing.
