Residential property is in hot demand due to high immigration and demand from adults still living at home. They are all waiting for a minor correction to buy if there is one. If there is a correction I don’t think it would be sever as a lot of ppl is waiting to buy. In the mean time they just have to pay higher than normal rental costs. It’s a double edge sword really, if there is an IR cut then every wins.
US is a bit different as atm they have over 18million vacant houses.
