Can definitely pile the rigs in and just pattern drill but burning a million that way is very very easy and high likelihood that good chunk of that million is effectively pissed up against a wall.

There's no perfect scenario but behaviour here is consistent and clear....make sure that the money you spend adds value to the asset (knowledge base, resources, mine plan etc) even if it's not reflected in the share price as one day that information will decide if holders ultimately make money or not (yes this is a quality vs quantity argument) and hopefully the market acknowledges that and ultimately rewards it.
