Sometimes it really amazes me that some do 1 or 2 things and invest in something where other people make money off your invested money and they think are doing their bit, but what have you done overall.
Ok you doing your scraps, that has all been around for a long time, get the same result with a worm farm, by the way farmers have been doing this for decades with ploughing green crops back into the soil.
That plastic bag thing has been around for years as well and you have only just cottoned on to this.
So what have you personally done, changed all you light bulbs to led, turn off all unwanted lights in your house, bought a clothesline or an air dryer so you don't run the cloths dryer any more.
Invested in solar yourself, put a tank on your residence to water your garden to limit your usage of commercialised water.
Whether you live in a house or unit, there are a lot of extra simple things you can do to save yourself a buck, but all comes at a price.
Best to invest in yourself first if you want to save the planet and all these young people protesting about climate change would have more of a carbon footprint than me but I don't need to protest as I just do my bit and most responsible people do and say nothing.
