Commiserations on the bad news.
Looking ahead, the biggest and most immediate risk I see is funding, and I'm not sure how Silviu manages this. Given that MSB is on the back foot, any terms, either through borrowing or partnerships, will be unfavourable to MSB. That may not matter in the long run if MSB actually get a product approved by the FDA, but my focus now is short term survival (that for me is at least the next 3 years funding).
I'm interested in your views on:
- Do you think funding is as big an issue as I believe it is?
- The possibility of a buyout? Given the strength of the back and heart data, does MSB look attractive these prices?
- Partnership? Likelihood and what shape do you think it could take?
- Borrowing? Likely terms?
- Alternate funding arrangements?
What are your thoughts on funding?
