I bought my blue chips years ago dude and I am still well in the black I assure you (that's why I find spec stocks such a pain - always sending good money after bad. There's always this rock-solid compelling argument why I can't lose, why it's a 'no-brainer' but I still lose. I must be a loser. MAK is different, of course). Ayway, the only blue chip that springs to mind I ever lost money on was telstra and that was another case of listening too much to other people rather than my own assessment.
