Only one of the articles can be correct, and I would put more weight on The Australian article being correct than Pickering.

For the article that is wrong, the rest of the information in that article will have zero credibility.

I don't know about you, but I prefer to know the true facts and I don't like it when the media purposely tries to feed me bull.
