IO price has to be near its top price. Much higher and the cost of making steel becomes prohibitive. The real test is how long record prices can be sustained.
Probably an excellent time to consider the sale of Southdown and maximising the likely return on that investment. GRR does have a lot of cash but no where near enough to develop Southdown.
Then there is the likely return on that large investment - no guarantee that the IO price will be as strong by the time Southdown is up and running.
GRR is definitely undervalued - but it is not Fortescue and it never will be either. GRR is an excellent small player.
