Sure - three reasons that I do like about Grange.
1) cashed up
2) no debts
3) incredible dividend.
I would hate to see Grange go into debt for anything. Whatever they do, has to be "organically" funded. If they choose to flog off Southdown then half the funds should be returned to shareholders - what they do with the rest - hopefully, something that will grow the company. Profits will increase a bit anyway as they won't have to maintain the site.
If they chose to invest in Southdown (they don't currently have enough cash to do that) then putting excess funds here would be my first choice.
At the moment, we are heading for record profits in 2021 and a 3 cent dividend in September. If they do that and still maintain a good cash balance, then I am a very happy investor.
