Those kind of problems are management issues and a potential buyer would be aware of them and looking to turn them around - in fact this is where the value lies. These issues aren't unique to the IT industry - building scale while sacrificing profitability is a common competitive strategy - and occasionally successful in the right environments (not this one obviously). It needn't be the end of the line as they have a good brand and other businesses (perhaps the smaller ones are more likely) may see an opportunity to quickly build market share - simultaneously making the market less competitive by neutralising an aggressive player.
