Intec and emotional ill informed comments of late on this and other forums.
I like most are carrying substantial financial losses on these shares.
I don’t like it any more than any of you
The pounds have been burnt, so why sell the pennies
There are 2 questions investors should be asking themselves at the moment
Do the intec processes work in a commercial environment, and are they of any value:
We are told that those processes have been tested by qualified persons, and said to work, considerable amounts of money has been expended by the company to prove just that.
Others are paying inl to test the suitability of their processes on their ore, and others are currently doing with EAFD, what intec say can be done in a better and in a more productive way.
Re: EAFD
Talk’s cheap, so should we believe them, I would think so or they would not have been paid by Onesteel to take it away.
Pw believes so or he would not have outlaid some millions of dollars in environmental bonds.
The Victorian and Tasmanian Governments believe or they would not have excepted their proposal and bonds in the first place
So what, if anything are there processes worth:
Given the wasteful ways of the past and current base metals prices, I would think considerably more than 2 years ago, plus don’t forget green house gas and environmental factors.
Now the big one: Will they go out the back door; ie receivership!
This is easy to answer, and the answer is an emphatic no!
Pw and Ds must cringe when they see comments like this on our forums.
Just think for a moment:
Is intec a zinc miner or a tech company? It is of course a tech, using a tailings dam for cash flow and credibility.
Can their conventional processing of zinc suck them dry of capital, like some have suggested here and elsewhere?
That one is too easy, just suspend that operation until zinc prices improve, and cut back on none cash flow operations. (Remember they are not a zinc miner)
At this point in time I believe their cash and debt to be in balance, so I don’t see any reason to call in the receivers in the near future
Two years ago they didn’t have neither cash flow nor any cash, and look at what has been achieved.
Long term, would you rather own shares in this company as it is, or as it was 2 years ago.
Consider the entry costs then as against now ( the company is in better shape and far more advanced than it was )
As for the sp, we have just had a capital raising in a very sick market environment with no official news
Good deals take time! Conveyancing on a house can take 1 month, how long commercial property, or significant land development?
In summery
I am not selling my shares, and would not suggest that others should either, even if the sp moves down further.
The vultures are not circling at the moment (that’s to obvious) there in the bushes waiting for you and the market to feed them.
