I have no idea what a solution in the ME would entail but I'll have a go.
Firstly this war is not the solution. Things will get worse. The ME hates the US now more than ever.
Secondly, I would remove any physical US presence. It is clear that it is hated and is the cause for most of this. I'm not saying that intelligence would need to go - you only need to remove physical presence. Iraq is too far gone now to do anything.
Thirdly, I would cut any financial ties with Israel. I would stop funding the IDF and start talks with the heads of Israel, Palestine, Syria, Iran, Jordan, Saudi Arabia and Yemen. You need to make it as public as possible and to respect all their customs.
These people are not Western and they do not understand a lot of Western ideals. You therefore don't start imposing your ideas on them - do they impose their ideas on you?
All this is hypothetical - but is a start. Hatred breeds hatred - it's a vicious cycle.
