^I agree that the buck stops with him, but I can't see what anyone else would do differently that would have a substantial impact on profit.
* They're stuck with trying to get what they can from their forestry assets.
* They've sold their financial services arm.
* Futuris ... at $1AUD/US$1.06, who'd buy that business?
* Agricultural commodities aren't so competitive any more due to the exchange rate, and reduced demand in Japan/Europe
* They've divested their fertilizer division
The one thing that I keep wondering is:
How can rural services still be trading and making a loss after this time? Surely any activities not doing profitable business could be put out of their misery?
Anyone got any ideas?
