Yeah, I believe the rescue team are doing their best Bernard. Apparently the robot has to be adapted so it won't make a spark - takes time.

I just saw on the news that in an Aussie mine explosion some years ago, they went in too soon, there was a secondary explosion and 8 rescuers were killed.

But what a dreadful disaster. Terrible for the poor families not knowing what's happened in there.

I mean no disrespect to the families, but this is a forum about shares. Who knows what will happen to the value of the shares when they start trading again. I hope they stay frozen for quite some time till things are worked out - however that may be. I wonder if this would be a reason to extend the 2011 options?

Or will the company go bankrupt? Get bought out? Will NZO still be there with $$? The coal is still worth around $11b in total - can it just be abandoned? So many questions
