its the seal on the top that is intended to contain Co2 moonie.... if that blows then the area surrounding the blow out will be toxic for all living things. just like in a flood. sure as the flood will subside, so too willl the Co2 concentration dissipate, but the initial flood will be acutely toxic to life.
