What chance is there for civil redress

As a result of my last posI put forward concerning possible legal action to be taken against Directors, I was sanctioned by moderator who said that I could be sued and therefore the post was removed. In that post I sort advice from fellow holders and posters as to whether it was thought we had the grounds to launch a civil class action against BOD members for their non-compliance of their statutory obligations. Criticisms have been well ventilated in posts over the last few years while we have seen the value in our company rapidly fall while director's announcement after announcement indicated that the course the company was taking was going to lead to great profits. Announcements alluding to actual state of affairs such as 'self funding for expansion'; 'no need for capital raising'; 'no need for consolidation'; 'best gold grades in Australia (if not the world)'; etc., etc., etc. All drawing in holders to invest more and more money into company. Change after change occurred to the strategic plans put forth within months of announcements, resulting in significant devaluation of the company. Many of you, like myself, believed what these official announcements said, and invested more only to find that mistruths and total over or understating the real facts has lead us to where we are now. Within weeks of being declared commercial producers.

Our CEO is moved to the side, not sure whether he was sacked or resigned (not explained). Directors gave back umpteen millions of shares, at no cost to themselves, because the reality is that they failed. And now we struggle to see whether our company can survive in our real life commercial producing stage.

I ask again, seeing that no postings have occurred on HC since last Saturday, whether a combined action should or could be taken against the decision makers who have lead us down this path.
