what chance of bg counter bidding for aoe

Given the BG offtake agreement with CNOOC for supply of LNG, what is the chance that BG may make a counter offer for AOE to secure more CSG for their proposed LNG processing trains at Gladstone?

The AOE deal is not a done deal requiring the approval of shareholders in July.

Not sure whether a BG counter offer may stir-up the Chinese government given that both CNOOC and PetroChina are both government owned entities.
