You fail to see the difference between OF & TO ?
    Gospel OF the circumcision (Peter)
    Gospel OF the UNcircumcision (Paul

The first council held in the Bible is known as the Council of Jerusalem, which is described in the book of Acts in the New Testament. The Council of Jerusalem took place around AD 50 or 51 and was convened to address a major controversy in the early Christian community regarding the inclusion of Gentile (non-Jewish) believers in the church.

The issue at hand was whether Gentile converts to Christianity needed to adhere to Jewish customs and practices, particularly circumcision and observance of the Mosaic law. Some Jewish Christians argued that Gentile believers had to follow these traditions in order to be fully accepted into the Christian community.

The Council of Jerusalem, led by the apostles and elders of the early church, including Peter, James, and Paul, gathered to discuss and resolve this dispute. After much debate and consideration, it was ultimately agreed that Gentile believers did not need to be circumcised or follow all aspects of the Mosaic law in order to be saved and accepted as part of the church. Instead, they were encouraged to abstain from idolatry, sexual immorality, and consuming blood and meat sacrificed to idols.

The decision of the Council of Jerusalem was a significant milestone in the early church's history as it affirmed the principle of salvation by grace through faith in Jesus Christ, rather than adherence to the Jewish law. It helped to establish a more inclusive and unified community of believers, paving the way for the spread of Christianity to all nations and peoples.
