milne4078, I am inclined to agree with you.The new factory in Thailand is well situated from an operational point of view, it has recently been expanded and is capable of further expansion based on demand.
The experiences with 'contract manufacturing' first with JABIL and then with FLEX were not successful and cost both time and money which are 'scarce commodities'. Another adventure of this sort would be a disaster.
It's time to double down on manufacturing in Thailand as continuing with the success there will create interest for the right JV partner going forward.
