I'm no photographer, but i was just curious (mostly about how to get better underwater photos!) and i found this explanation helpful in understanding the colour difference.

You'll have to go to the website to see the graphic but the depth at which colours "disappear" seems to coincide with the depth of the CETO unit - reds disappear at about 3m depth.

"Colour correction
The problem constantly plaguing the under water photographer, is the quality of the light changing with distance travelled, as illustrated in this drawing. First the red colours disappear, then the oranges, yellows and finally the greens and purples."

So basically, it seems to suggest the red and orange had been largely knocked out, which is why the yellow dominated.
