Yes these gold results may be a catalyst for something. What we know so far of Trouser Legs & Coffey Bore probably underpins current sp but the potential at Whiteheads is on a different scale.

The initial drilling is of the southern area around Lindsays. Strong MMI anomalies present the possibility of a substantial resource parallel to Lindsays main off the Westerly fault but Carrick themselves are convinced by gravity results that their resource extends both north and south along these faults at depth and they will progressively explore this through drilling. This means that HAW`s land to the south (and possibly to the north) would represent an interruption of any deeper mining by Carrick and CRK will undoubtedly want to own the lot.

However HAW has repeatedly stated its` intention to become a producer itself and decent near surface ounces may lead them to exploit via open pit and investigate at depth over time much as Carrick are planning themselves. Whether via NEWCO or HAW depends on what happens with Mt.Bevan but seems a shame to throw drill dollars away on admin if this can be avoided.

Anyway, the first thing is to prove that the gold is there and for long-term holders this ann is eagerly anticipated if not quite up there with Mt.B.
