Also i'll give this diet a good rap - not that I've used it but I did see my uncle the other week and he looks great.
He was never really over weight but he was tubby, he has (had?) diabetes & some muscle problems.
He's been on the 5/2 diet for about 18 months & walks/rides a lot.
He'd really lost that tubbiness when I saw him - no pot belly - he hasn't used his diabetes medication for almost a year & his physician gives him the thumbs up says can't explain why he's doing so well without the medication (Dr's always seem lost for words with these kind of things) but says it all looks great.
