    I don't ever remember seeing on 2013 election voting day a ballot that asked this question:

    Julia Gillard
    Tony Abbott

    Tick one box only

    I am very certain that no such ballot paper existed. If you think there was one, can you make a copy of it and post it here ?

    The fact of the matter is, people in Australia do not vote in a prime minister, they vote for a party of their choice to govern the country, and the winning party leader becomes the prime minister.

    This has been explained by others too in simple language in the past, but it seems some still have no idea how our electoral system works.

    The Liberal Party sacked Tony Abbott as its leader, you better get used to that fact.
