I would suggest that no news means that the JV is still on the table.

CUE can just sit and wait to have the original agreement 'Status Quo'. Thats what they want - nothing to change and not to disadvantage CUE and the shareholders.

It is in MEO and the JV partners court, they have to decide - there would not be a problem if the original agreement with CUE was unchanged.

MEO should have to have a deadline when to abandon the talks and plan for a new JV or plan their own drilling.

CUE do not have to change as MEO has already said they will drill and if they dont drill, CUE will regain their original 50%.
