Perhaps doing your own research instead of relying on others would've suited your investment timeframes better, the posters you speak of are still extra confident that their investment will come home, and so they should be as the company is rocking!

Different timeframes for different people, did you take that into account, most mid/long term investors are happy with a 5-10 year turn around from when they invested, I'm guessing your short term timeframe doesn't match their longer outlook.
Perhaps it's not everyone else's fault!
