...and Caesar! Having all those armies running around destroyed the Roman Empire...didnt it?
...and in today's world, anyone with 700 foreign bases to maintain, carrier fleets running around 27/7, 2 disastrous wars currently being waged, with the chance of a 3rd on the horizon,and the piggy bank empty back home.....should be nervous. Funny, by all accounts China looks like trying a bit of expansionism....building carriers, submarines, etc... If they had any brains, they'd just sit tight, save their bickies, and the crumbling bits of the Western world would fall in their laps eventually, for them to pick & chose.
