what determines the price?

    At the moment there is buyers at 8.5 cent and sellers at 6.7 cent????? to me it doesn't make sense? why would you sell something less than what someone will buy it for. I know it's not that simple and traders are playing games.

    What will determine the price? and why do people do this?
