Well I hate to say this but I can forsee this scenario comming. I think the only review PLA management should do now is that reviewing their job position with the company and their pay package! You would wonder how northscape got out of this sorry company just before this announcement and how it took 4 days (from the time the mine shutdown) till today for the company to make the announcement to the market and trading halt. Look like small shareholders being treated like fools by PLA managements. With the mine shutdown 4 days that doesn't explain why some 17000 tones missed the target you would have thought the missing amount would be much less for 4 days.
Yet another dodgy excuses from PLA management. They should all be gone and a new board with experiences of running a mining operation be brought in. It s not the mine that is uneconomical its the lack of performance management that led to this situation
