Totally and how and why this manipulation is allowed i don't know a question for ASIC to answer perhaps!
It is kinda like price fixing which is not allowed yet in the share market all sorts of dodginess gets a blind eye.
you get a speeding ticket if the SP jumps a few pips but nothing gets done when it is suppressed.
