I wish for the long awaited take over and breakup.

It is a sitter for an LBO. Very good cash flow, with undervalued assets. Someone will do very well out of CSR as rent pressure in NSW is changing the dynamics of project financing for large developments. Some old business plans are being dusted off. There is no question - housing developments have to start. This will flow directly to CSR's materials division.

A smart cookie would buy now, ride the start of the building wave, and spin off the materials division all the while using the cash flow from the sugar divsion to service debt.

On a more esoteric note: Dont understand the impact on CSR, but there is very serious problem in the agricultural sector in the US. Bees (chief crop pollinator agent) are disapearing - upwards of 50% are disapearing presumed dead. Can reasonably expect corn crop yields to fall this year in an already tight market. Corn fed Ethonol plants will either have to reduce output or use sugar. Either way - there is potential for upward pressure on sugar prices. Interesting days.
