Hi all The name should be Snake Oil not Blackoil with a post like that. Not only are you suggesting that Frosty may be a bit sus but in suggesting they are hiding behind the Burnet Institute, it is tantamount to saying the Institute are also a bunch of burglers.
It' s pretty late. I only just got home and I haven't got the time to put on an indepth post but I'd just like you guys to think of this. The Peregrine team are hugely involved with the following companies : SelectVaccines PrimaBioMed Premier Bionics Prana Biotechnology De Gray Mining Yamarna Goldfields Gaming and Entertainment Group Limited Take the top 4 bios Mr BlackOil and analyse a bit closer. Prima has a strategic alliance with the Austin Research Institute and first right of refusal of any molecular structures discovered therein. Already working on 4 majors including Cancervac and Arthron. Premier has a strategic alliance with the Ritchie Centre of the Monash Institute. Prana has established alliances involving several world class internationally recognised core institutuoinal research facilitities including The Massachusetts General Hospital and University of Melbourne. Select with its marriage to the famous Burnet Institute also has a first right of commercialisation over a wide range of current and future technology. Select also will be one of the smallest capped bios on record to create a substantial revenue stream in its first year of operation.
I put a post on months ago called the tale of 3 bios. Left out Prana cause I wasn't on board but now I am big time because I bought on its lows. So I'll update the tale of 4 bios when I get a moment or two. But in the interim I'm getting on board anything Brian Frost touches because the old dog has hit a jackpot here.
One of these insitutes alone has 80 odd scientists on board. Collectively they would amount to one of the greatest selections of doctors, research scientists, background support staff, finance experts with a raft of managerial and legal experience overseeing all of the operations. What the Peregrine team is putting together is nothing short of brilliant, with pitiful little market caps of 10 and 12 million dollars etc with the exception of Prana. There are comparable companies in America with the same amount of intellectual property that are worth in excess of a billion dollars.
And the question from the big round one is what are Shaws accumulating SLT for? Bloody hell. They wrote the report. They're probably privvy to more than us plonkers from there own research that they may or may not have released and thought - Shit. We'd better get a piece of this action. So it's not surprising they're accumulating.
The management teams behind these companies have been carrying out their due diligence for months and in some cases years. When all is watertight - patents etc - and the market realises what has been stitched up throught these institutes, my prediction is we will have an unparallelled biomed run in Australia fuelled by a volatile mixture of Australian instos and overseas investment. And by the timeframes of all companies announcements we are not too far away.
