IMO there has been a lot of reputational damage done to the bank especially when the P word comes up but the big 4 are dinosaurs and they all need to change their business models or lose business over time, just google Finder home loans and no big 4 in the first 10 offers.
I think they will cut dividend and also need to raise more cash as new management wont want any stench from the past lingering the big 4 have a big advantages but they are relying on past business practices to compete in a new market.
