'Wise' old heads set in their ways commenting on something new and innovative. Yes it may crash at some point like any 'conventional' investment. Bitcoin and crypto fall under 'pioneers and trailblazers' for future generations, not ageing one that unlikely to embrace change. Mobile phones were the size of a brick in 80's now 10 year olds take them to school.
