MM openly admitted that they probably won't have the time to get to market with a new compound in time for this Pandemic. However the world might wake up to a new set of antivirals that may be able to be used to save the elderly and infirm from the regular influenza as well as new strains. We've all seen how many die annually and the world just accepts it. So, there is a massive untapped marketplace out there apart from CV. I think this is the year Biotron shows it's cards. Locarnini was the first move.
HepB compound is next, followed by news on Covid type drugs as a new antiviral era unfolds.
During this time we will learn of the new plan for HIV and how it will be financed.
The board needs some new injection and succession planning but they've done alright in my book. They seem to be moving to be a more serious company already. I would say that there are already plans in place and board changes will come with a new collaboration this year anyway.
