Your strategy seems sound to me, and with luck SUR may have a CVNesque run at some stage. As I understand it, CVN have stated that the known well on the block will be reappraised this quarter. They think "all" it needs is artificial lift to get it flowing, which is fine, but doesn't give much optimism for a gusher. Still, slowly and surely....

CVN have also stated that they intend to explore the new block aggressively, so while it will likely take several months to do the preliminary work, I expect we'll see some action late in the year... Anyway, the quarterly rpt is out next week, should be details in there of their forward strategy.

And for those who wont invest in CVN because of the Thailand sovereign risk factor, you really must be massively risk averse. May as well find yourself a nice bank account where you can get 8% interest on your money. Muppets.
